What Families Notice After a Few Weeks:

Now my kids ask for the spinner every night. They've never asked for family time before.

Parenting today feels like this:

  • Everyone’s home, but everyone’s on a different screen.

  • YouΒ intendΒ to connect, but by bedtime you’re out of energy.

  • You buy great tools (books, games, courses)… and they collect dust.

Family Lab is the β€œoperating system” that helps you actually use connection tools in real life. Whether that is during dinner, in the car, before bed, on the hard days and the good ones.

What Is Family Lab?

A monthly rhythm that keeps your family practicing connection.

Every month, Lab Families get:

  • 1 live β€œFounders Circle” callΒ (30–45 minutes) Gentle coaching, Q&A, and one clear focus for the month.
  • 2 Themed Parent Guides (Booster Packs) unlocked - Short prompts and activities around that month’s theme (e.g., Energy, Teamwork, Grit, Confidence).
  • 1 β€œhero ritual” for the month - A simple family ritual that almost guarantees a win (Dessert First Night, Jersey Night, Flashlight Dinner, etc.).
  • Weekly nudges - Short emails/texts that say, β€œHere’s the one tiny thing to try this week.”
  • Spinner access - A click-and-go page with prompts tied to the month’s theme, so you’re never stuck for what to do.
  • 1 Golden Ticket asset (5 times a year)- A done-for-you tool like a Summer Bucket List Poster, Lunchbox Power Notes, Breakfast-in-Bed Menu, or Monster Mash template.

Everything is designed to fit inΒ 5–15 minutes, using what you already have at home.

How It Works

Step 1: Start with one tiny win

You’ll get a welcome guide that shows youΒ oneΒ 5–10 minute activity to try this week. If all you do is that, you’re doing the Lab.

Step 2: Join us for the monthly call

Once a month, we gather live to answer questions, and remind you that you’re not the only family figuring this out.

Step 3: Use the tools when life happens

Bedtime meltdowns, sibling fights, back-to-school nerves, big feelings. There’s a Booster and a ritual for each season. You pull what you need, when you need it.

There is no β€œbehind.”

Every month stands alone. You can jump in anytime.

Who It’s For

Family Lab is for you if:

  • You want your kids to remember a home full of connection, not just logistics.
  • You’re tired of feeling guilty about not β€œdoing all the things.”
  • You want language and rituals that work for multiple ages and personalities.
  • You like the Thrive Together game but know you need structure and reminders to keep using it.

Family Lab isΒ notΒ for you if:

  • You want a rigid, intensive course with hours of video.
  • You’re looking for a quick fix without touching your family rhythms.

This is for families who want to build aΒ practice, not perform perfection.

FAQ

What is difference between the Premium and Standard Family Lab?

We have found that sometimes emails can stack up or get lost in the inbox. So to break the log jam, we went old school and added the Premium Family Lab.

In the Premium Family Lab, we do the work for you and send you one printed parent guide (Thrive Booster) in the mail arriving around the 1st of each month. If you find yourself needing more resources, we also send you a second monthly parent guide digitally in the 3rd week of the month.

The Premium Lab allows you to focus on what most important and we get you the resources.

β€œWhat if we don’t use everything?”

You’re not supposed to. We design each month so thatΒ one ritual + one call + a few promptsΒ is a win. Think of it as a menu, not a checklist.

β€œWhat if life gets really busy?”

You can pause for a month. When you’re ready, we’ll send a simple β€œstart here” recap so you can rejoin without guilt.

When do you mail the Premium Parent Guide?

We mail the Parent Guide out on the 20th. Don't worry if you sign up between the 19th and the 1st of the month (i.e. April 19 - May 1) you will get that months parent guide sent you digitally immediately after signing up so you don't miss out.

β€œWhat ages is this for?”

Most families use Lab with kids ages 5–18. We offer alternate prompts and tweaks for teens and younger kids.

β€œDo we need the game?”

The game is a beautiful on-ramp, but not
required. Lab stands on its own, and it also helps you actuallyΒ useΒ the game more often if you have it.
